IMG_5074Holy shit is the Sonnar sharp, I mean holy FRICKEN shit. I can see spots on her glasses and I can see the reflections in her earrings. Ahem. That said, the shot isn't too much to speak of otherwise. I was entirely too close to be using a 216mm equivalent focal length lens, but I'm still astounded how well it came out. Close inspection will reveal that the depth of field does not extend from one side of her glasses to the other. No edits at all.

IMG_5013 HDR EditLooking toward Chicopee and Holyoke from the top of Mount Skinner. Very similar to a shot it took last week. Less clouds, more cars. Made in Photomatix from three exposures, and cleaned up in Photoshop.
