Quality Tested
Looking at this marvellous piece of optical engineering, I'm put a rest that what i have here is top notch, pure quality!
And it seems, all too often we take it for granted, that a company will test it's products to meet their strict quality control. However, today's standards ain't nowhere near as close as it used to be... Modern lenes are 90% plastic!

As far as I can tell, this would be one of the original manual Nikkor lenses, complete with Nikkormat, Photomat? Horse-shoe thing...笑 What's it called? Oh i know "prong"

As good as new!! Seriously, for it's age this lens is bloody spotless!! And looking at it through a 40D with Macro, it's in a better shape than I am! (>_<)
