Drenched to the Core

*bites*
Drenched to the Core by Jeffy Can.
Control the weather. I went outside with a spray bottle, and made rain. I'm not sure why, but I like it completely soaked. I showed some shots to family, and everyone agreed that it looked better with just a few drops on it, but I like it dripping. Check out the the "spray bottle method" in here:
www.flickr.com/groups/topic/47586/

I adjusted the levels a bit in PS until the background was completely black. This is the original: ultimaslair.com/apple.jpg

Added to Cream of the Crop as my most favorited photo.

Very good composition, if it had just a few drops on it, then it would miss all the fun.

Dripping! Good choice, but I'm sure the other one looked great, too. The composition is just right.

It's not that I really blacked anything out, it was already really dark in RAW. I adjusted the levels to get it as close to actual black as I could, without losing details.

I've never seen anything like this before in my life. Where do you get your creative vision from?

Well, it rains a lot over here in Germany. So, an apple with waterdrops does not thrill me at all. The white spot looks like you used the flash. When you take all that time to spray that apple, why not using some nice light and take a long exposure?

An artist might like it. It just looks like one of those photos that I'm suppose to like if I was at an art show. A rich color of green but I don't know about the cut off side and a little too much of the black backgound.
