Fried Sesame Balls

Notes: Fresh from the fryer, these sesame balls (wrapped in pounded glutinous rice) were cut with scissors at the table. These are more commonly filled with red bean paste, but on this occasion, they were - much to my delight - filled with lotus seed paste.
