Citrus and Pistachio
Pistachio Joconde, Grapefruit Gelée, Gin Sauce.
Notes: *COMP DISCLOSURE*
The jaconde (dense financier-like cake) was moist and good. On top of it lay a thin layer of grapefruit gelee. I'm not really sure what the creamy, semi-freddo-like tube on top of the cake was, though I suspect it had some citrus in it (not very discernible).
The gin sauce was predominantly grapefruity.
Overall, an good dessert. Not terribly mind-blowing.
