He was the last one, but I could not find any information, if he let it set. But seen with they eyes of a woman, I would say, he did, haha.
In German Wikipedia they say, it was an idealistic love of Wieland to her.

Her grandma was a former fiancé of Wieland; he had a child with his girl friend, whom he was not allowed to marry, well, this story of the idealistic love is very nice, I´d say.
