The Urban League of Greater Madison's 25th Annual Youth Recognition Breakfast attracted nearly 850 people on Jan. 18, 2009. Over 170 outstanding youth of color in Dane County, WI, were recognized. Dr. Willie D. Larkin provided the keynote address, "Choose Not to Be Average: Strive to Be Great." Barclay Pollak from NBC15 emceed the event. State Farm was the presenting sponsor.
