The gauges look nice. I have a set, but could never get the needles off without feeling like they were going to break. Any suggestions?

My trick was to pay someone to do it for me at Vegas a couple of years ago. Before he did it he warned me I wouldn't like what I heard or saw but it was ok. I left at the first cracking sound!

From what I remember of the needles he was real careful not to break them but still gave them quite the pull.

I know that's of no help, really, but he did put a lot more effort into it than I would have, being afraid to break something.
