I WOULD love this on my wall. How big is it? Your talent blows me away. I really, really enjoy looking at your work.

I like Modigliani series. This is Van Gogh-ish to me (though the elongated neck and hand might indicate that it's another Modigliani attempt).

Never Minder - thank you. I really appreciate it. cant take credit for it though as it's a copy of another of modigliani's works.

it's digital actually. one of the many mediums I'm having a go at. i still havent figured out the canvas size in pixels as compared with inches. made it in art rage 2. was better with layers this time. it's all very new to me but very interesting. i plan to make the same one again using poster colors too in this month.

you can have a look at a copy of the original at here . the original is mindblowing and i think posters must be available. I love the idea of putting it up :D You should check out the man with the orange background too. Really like both of them. I love his use of bright colors. as you can see i'm enjoying this project immensely :D

Ahhhh, you see, as soon as I wrote my comment and posted it, a thought came over me that this actually might be another Modigliani. Thanks for the link. Imagine, it's in somebody's "private collection"! It kills me that some people can actually afford to own a Modigliani and such. But hey, maybe one day I'll be able to afford yours and it's going to be a big deal :) I would love to. I'll start with cows you made and then it goes...:)

Two years ago we had a very nice exhibition here in Toronto "Modigliani: Beyond the Myth". It was nice seeing his work in person.

i got to see the same exhibition 2 years ago at the Jewish Museum. :P It was just amazing seeing all of them together like that.

and thanks for having faith in me :P i'm still way too much of a beginner. i have a looooong way to go. btw which of the cows did you like? i'm hoping to do a series on cows sometime in the future. i really like them :P cows that is.

there was an exhibition of models of cows being place all over the uk and people had to spot them. came up on a lot of blogs earlier in the year. did you get to see those? some of the cows designed were truly outstanding. found links :D

i didn't know about the cow parade in the UK but i did see the same thing in Chicago some 7 years ago. it's amazing how much it actually lightens up the city. we also had a similar thing in Toronto only we hade a moose instead of a cow as an animal of choice. back then i didn't have a digital camera so i don't have any photo. i do have some photos which i never scanned though.

i like the drawings you made of cows and also the 2 i saw in your 'paintings' folder. something i'd definitely have on my wall too :) i don't believe in such thing as a beginner artist. you're artist from the moment you were born (probably even before that) and sure experience might reflect in your work but you're not less of an artist now than you'll be in 30-40 years or so. if you can make something that i'd stare at with adoration, like you do, you're an artist alright.

I am truly impressed. I am no expert but like looking at pictures and paintings. And I liked this work a lot. The comments exchanged are very interesting and should leave you in no doubt about your ability.
