Spaz vs. Tweetr (Linux)Posted at 9:07 PM Posted at 6:11 PM - I left the house only minutes later for dinner. Now I know why they call it Spaz...b/c it spazzes out. ![]() Ben wrote a nice review on Adobe AIR Twitter clients for Linux. Here's another reason to choose Tweetr (or something else) over Spaz. The program literally spazzes out when too many requests come through. Tweeter (OToH), seems to handle the load no problem. Lest you think it's just because I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and an alpha version of Adobe AIR, I get this same error with Spaz on my Vista Home Premium machine.

UPDATE: It may be that Spaz isn't totally to blame (though I'm not sure why it didn't happen to Tweetr, too). By authorizing multiple 3rd party clients, I may have run into an issue where Twitter limits the number of times per hour it can be accessed. Researching... Commentsscttrknndy says:Sure, not a problem.
