deep mountains of Nikko

The mountain that enshrines Toshogu is a part of the Nikko mountain range. We wanted to go hiking there, but the rainy weather made us rethink our plan. This shot was taken from a bridge behind the Toshogu complex, when the sun peeked through a break of thick cloud. Nikko, Japan.
