Circa 2000: Ladies in period garb at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
THIS IS MY MOST VIEWED PICTURE ON FLICKR...although I'm not sure why(?) PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT :)
Probably the most viewed because I keep
showing people I know these pix! The
festival management has always had a habit of
"grabbing" nice dressed
"playtrons" (non-employees) to fill
in their parade (that is, if they don't have
a beef with you, lol.) so some of these gals
are not cast. The lady in the very tall
black hat second to the left behind one's arm
was not cast, because I met her, and the lady
in the russian kokoshnik headdress wasn't
either. The rest were resident cast because
they came back in later seasons.

Dear Arch Duchess Sybella,
Thank you for the information and the flickr
referals. It's nice to know people like to
look at my pictures...no matter the reason.

This information is ENTIRELY incorrect. As I
was not only a part of the court, but court
director then, I can tell you that every lady
in this photo was, indeed, a cast member!
(Ok, except the little girl on the right.)
