About Dang Time

About Dang Time

I'm finally back. I never really went away, I've just been living in a hole lately and have neglected my flickr stream. So here's a strange return.

This was shot with a Vivitar EZ35 plastic point and shoot camera with a panoramic mask. I think Mom found this camera for $1 at a garage sale. Those are the best kind. Shot on expired Fuji Superia X-Tra 400. Scanned negative.

Lilies of the Pond

Lilies of the Pond

Another from the Diana on Fuji Pro 400H with a scanned negative. Unfortunately it was overcast so the lilies weren't open.

Roots and Dirt

Roots and Dirt

With the Diana on Fuji Pro 400H from a scanned negative. I thought it looked kind of cool, so I made a photograph. That's what it's all about right?

The Storm Nears...

The Storm Nears...

...and I'm moving quickly to the car, but shooting as I go. I'm not in any real hurry to go except my wife wants me home because they've blown the tornado sirens in our little suburb. Mind you, if there was a real threat I'd have been on my way already, but I've checked radar and figured out there's no tornado threat, and any threat there is would miss the hometown by many, many miles.

Of course twenty minutes after I shot this, this area was being pounded by hail. Ah, springtime in Oklahoma. Always an adventure.
