The tree was scary enough before I applied the gimp lomo script.

Thank you... I keep on dusting this picture off and doing something or another different to it because I think it's great. I was beginning to wonder if I was imagining it.

Yeah, it really is a great look! I love how the wall/bridge seems to be holding up the whole thing. The orange hillside looks like it might burst through the dam at any moment.

Did you know Flickr says this is the most interesting pic with the "Saint Paul" tag?

That's really odd... I still don't know what to make of the "interestingness" bit. But I guess now that I'm part of the whole thing, it's pretty darned cool.

I know, I'm really amazed by how the color ended up there. It's really rich, but still stark.

Bad quality. On the top is a strange stripe.

i'd like it if the tree were more in your face, and the colors more intense.

If I develop choroidal melanoma or retinoblastoma from looking I this I'll sue. The colours are positivel radioactive.

Here's a straight scan of the print, before I monkeyed with the colors, if anybody wants it as a reference...

The wall on the left is distracting me as is the tree poking above the hill on the right. Love the attempt at a Lomo effect, but not really safe material.

The composition just does not work for me, especially that bridge on the left and treetop on the right....

I agree with cam, no wall would be better. Obviously that would be hard to avoid because this is how the thing exists. I'll say this is as cool and interesting of a shot as could be made from this angle but I can't quite give it to you.

Neither version does it for me - perhaps half a monkey with the colours would be best.

Think it's already gone, but:
