A 1024x768 jpeg export from Lightroom from a 10 MP LX5 RAW original. First attempt at using newly purchased Lightroom. Working on trying to develop a basic workflow using Lightroom which I just purchased after dabbling in PS and PSE on a purely hobbyist basis since PSE 4. Very pleasantly surprised at how easily you can learn and progress at your own pace with it. Image editing was done solely in Lightroom.

Didn't want to use the Macro AF setting on this one, so just set the LX5 in a large enough flower pot, used an f2.5 aperture setting, and spot-metered on the leaves of the geranium using single-area auto-focus so that the focus would follow the spot-metering and give the desired effect.

Used in this case the largest aperture (f2.0) available on the LX5, spot-metering on the nearby eye of the "wabbit" figurine and used single-area AF so that the focus would follow the metering and blur the background.

"HECK NO! WE'RE STAYING HERE ON THE SIDEWALK WHERE IT'S SAFE!" Done w/ a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5. Only PP done was a crop, otherwise it's SOOC.
