I designed this »stencilled lettering« based on a beautiful Anglo–Saxon »stencil plate« from the ninth century, which I found in an old book written by Lewis F. Day, called »Lettering in Ornament«.

This is the third and last of my »interlaced initials stenciled« series: The colored version!

»Black on White«
Typefaces in use:
Thomas Gabriels (Typejockeys) excellent, wedge serif book face »Premiéra«
Premiéra is a book typeface specifically designed to work in small sizes. It
is available in three weights: the ‘Book’ for main text demands and
two styles (Bold and Italic) to create different kind of emphasis.
A strong x-height and short ascender/descender make this very legible
and elegant typeface very suitable for use in books and newspapers.
