Short Beaked Common Dolphins

We saw two different kinds of common dolphins, three small pods of long beaked and then this megapod (about 500) of short beaked. The short beaked dolphins were definitely more gregarious. They do more leaping and turns. This particular pod had a large number of calves, some very small (perhaps a week or two old) to older juveniles that were rather large but still didn't have their adult markings.
