Time's Up! Bicycle Clown Brigade July 2007

On Friday, July 13th, the Time's Up! Bicycle Clown Brigade had a special guest: "Sheldon Silver", played by bicycle clown Benjamin Shepard. "Silver" rejected the clown's offer of a giant $500 million check, representing the $500 million of federal transportation funding that New York City might lose since Speaker Sheldon Silver didn't call the assembly back in to session today to vote on congestion pricing.

After "de-congesting" the bike lanes in midtown of numerous illegally parked and standing trucks, SUVs, taxis and even police cars, the Bicycle Clown Brigade headed downtown to Mr. Silver's office. Mr. Silver was out, his office manager said, and no representative would meet with the clowns or "Silver".
