I swear I'm not a hater

I just don't want Microsoft to own Flickr.

(I switched links cause this one has ME in it! You know you're a geek when...)

I may be team Mac / team Linux / team Google. But I like Vista. I thought XP was great when it came out like 8 years ago. I think Bill Gates is a great mind, charitable, and a
great business man.

But Microsoft offered 66 Billion dollars to buy Yahoo. And Yahoo now owns Flickr.

I just think it will be bad. That's all. I didn't want yahoo to buy them and I like them. I don't like change.

Though six apart bought LJ (when I cared) and that was ok. Maybe I worry too much.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

nothing to be done about it, the Billion$ speak and millions suffer.
Yahoo has been floundering for a while now, I am surprised it wasn't Google that bought them out.

as much as I dislike the idea of Microsoft buying them out, I would rather see them bought out then fall apart because at the rate their stock was going, within 5 years they might have folded anyway. their main competitor is $600 a share ahead of them in stock prices.

its sad and frustrating but unfortunately it is the platform on which American business is built :(
