One of my favorite portraits from india, I stopped for just a quick moment and asked if I could take a photo of this tiny little shop on the side of a small street in Jaisalmer and they gave me this tiny little nod. I love the cup in the guys hand and the fact that they did not really try so hard to pose for the shot. I also like that the sides of the shot show the edges of the shop and just how small it really was. This and I was really happy with the exposure, although they did look pretty confused when I stuck a light meter in front of them.

The light was not too great this day but I think this still has a nice subtle something there. If anything it takes me back to the moment I shot it and the other photographer standing next to me shooting with his Leica. He bought a roll of portra400 from me actually.

Another shot of this little off street from the main market drag in the hippie overrun town of Pushkar. Lots of frying all around here and all sorts of foods I could not really recognize. Seemed to be a favorite corner for the stay dogs to hang out looking around for scraps.

I have three shots of this scene, polaroid which I think is my favorite, this one which I had to wait on for a good while for all these birds to fly through the shot and another similar to this but with a couple oddly placed people and less birds. I just loved the chaos in this one.
