Circled

I see you!
Circled by TwinKnit.
After many fiascos with sizing (my knuckles? They are large. The jeweler did not believe me), we were finally able to pick up our bands today. We had a nice moment before putting them on. I *love* them.

I'm not much of a jeweled ring person and I really didn't want a diamond, so this band suits me just fine. We are participating in the Scandinavian tradition of wearing our wedding bands as engagement rings on the opposite hand. When we get married, we will switch the rings to our left hands. D likes it that he also gets an engagement ring. We both like how equal the whole thing is.

All around joy.

I understand you on the big knuckles.. my rings still keep twisting, as skinny at the base of each finger and bony above..ugh! Pretty ring!

Yay, congrats!

So how did your jeweler solve the knuckle issue? Rob has big ones, and his ring just flops around once it clears the knuckle.

Thanks everyone! Again, we're pretty psyched, especially now that we have the rings. That makes it more real, somehow.

I compromised a little on size. I prefer my rings a wee bit loose anyway, so it's tight over the knuckle and loose on the hand. It was a struggle to find the right size, because it starts on my right hand and then will have to move to the left ring finger, which is smaller. We both have rings that are a little on tight side right now, but they will be perfect post-wedding.

I must say that I love your band since I think I have the exact same one. We got something called comfort fit so that they don't have hard edges and it's soooo comfortable.

Congratulations! I´m pretty in tune with wedding rings and bands as I´m going through the exact same thing! And loving it, by the way! :)

And have the same problem as you do: big knuckles, thin fingers!

such a beautiful ring! congrats!

it's funny - in norway wedding rings go on the right hand. i wore a diamond ring on my left hand for years before i got married and every american i ever met always thought i had married ridiculously young ;)
