I can't believe it's been three weeks already. Ever since I went into labor, time seems strangely suspended (maybe it's the lack of sleep?). When I look at this photo, I can't believe how BIG he seems (even though I know he's still a tiny little boo).

Asa is a wonderful baby. He doesn't fuss much, sleeps well (as long as he's sleeping on me or d), and is very good natured. This week, we learned that he doesn't like it when I eat soy, so it will be a while before I eat tofu or tempeh again. But he likes pretty much everything else, including long walks in the stroller or the ergo. He even let me have a few quiet moments at the cafe -- I almost made it through an entire New Yorker this week. We took our first road trip (just to Lancaster. He does great in the car). And we ended the week with his first bath...

Can't wait to see what this coming week brings (hopefully some more sleep).

I took a different entrance into the subway today and saw this sign for the first time. There's something about it that I just love.
