Smile! You're on my fucking cameraphone

The smugness of the Brighton police CCTV van has inexplicably enraged me: not only because it's like having George Orwell giggle in your ear whilst Big Brother eases himself into you, but also for the reappropriating of THE symbol of 1990s acid house culture.

After being mildly annoyed by this for ages, I've decided - in an admittedly futile attempt to even things up - to collect photos of the van here.

I should point out I have nothing against policeman or the important and difficult work they do - some of my best friends etc etc. I just resent the smug bastard who thinks that it's funny to joke about our descent into the panopticon...
