Calm before the storm of Kids Descend ~

This building was right on the beach by the Daytona Pier.

Spring Break March 9-29, 2009

Spring Break in Daytona Beach is a tradition that dates back to... well, a long time. Ask your parents, they may have met here. With 23 miles of sandy beaches filled with Spring Break activity, pool deck parties and lots of hot Daytona Beach Clubs like the Ocean Deck, Razzles, and 600 North ready to rock, Daytona Beach is a great choice for Spring Break.

It was a calm and peaceful day when Rigs & I went there..... :D

I spent several spring breaks here and ya never knew who you may run into.... I always met up with buddies from school but one year I ran smack dab into my cousin and we had no idea each other were there. Thanks Nancy... brings back some fond memories

Thanks for the kind words of support. These are difficult and frightening times for all of us. So often, I think of the burdens weighing on the skinny shoulders of our young president and pray that he can find a way to get us all through this. Often wonder if he didn't get more than he bargained for ....

My favorite is the sound of the ocean. I could learn to live with it on a full time basis. The only time I care for the sound of rain is at night, on a tin roof, and I don't have to get up early. I want it all, huh? Oh yeah, love the shot. The sky and the ocean are beautiful.

This brings back so many memories of when I lived just outside Galveston!! All the beach houses, the tourists descending on the island during spring and summer, etc. Just wonderful.
