The two sides of the kitchen are papered but not the end wall which is waiting for me to finish making a window for it. The ceiling is not finished either. All the crazy paving has been renewed [from photo-copies] and varnished. I kept the kitchen tiles which were in good condition and varnished them too. The door at the back of the kitchen leads to what I hope will become a small yard with red quarry tiles, flowers and a lamp.
