its 3am...
i turn on the radio
it coughs up a noise

the rain is hitting my windshield so hard
i can barely hear the tinny garbled voices

the cars outside rush by like falling elevators
my headlights catch fleeting images of ghostly faces
pressed up against the glass in silent desperation

im lost in the middle of nowhere
but i keep my eyes on the road
and i dont look back

Ho sempre immaginato che chi si trova in un ascensore che cade si ritrova con le braccia verso l'alto... Per cui mi dà più l'impressione di qualcosa che squarcia il fondo all'improvviso. Eh... ognuno ha i suoi incubi! :-))

Reason, my memory works sometimes, but is not completely trustable, i guess. and there were four of us, but all the ps mess obscured the other two ppl. i'll add notes :)

Paula, there's two possible ways. one: have somebody cutting the wire, it should be the same one that shoots, for a better result;
two: reach an age in your life holding in your heart that you're doing fine and to the best of your efforts. then on an october morning wake up feeling that you were actually wrong about that. in this case, days become an elevator, the falling a rush that goes for the throat :)
i tried one, but i'm sure everybody could add his/her flavour to the fall. and damn, am i the drama queen sometimes :/
