Monkey FaceThis is Monkey Face - One of the more recognizable / popular formations at Garden of the Gods in Southern Illinois. This was a morning shot, and this part of the rock was being shaded by the trees just to the East.

Garden Of The Gods VistaThis shot from Garden of the Gods was taken a little later in the morning. The Sun was fairly high as you can tell from the shadows. I liked the tall/skinny tree and the gap between rocks that overlooked the trees below the bluff. Kind of peeking through to this vast blanket of trees.

Banner Marsh Dock At NightOn a recent trip to Banner Marsh, Dave, Stacy, and I were all crowded around this spot. So much so, that our tripod legs were crossing into each other!! haha! All 3 of us now have their version posted. All are very different in look, feel, and mood. Here's Stacy's version, and here is Dave's.

Moonrise On The Marsh
During a recent trip to Banner Marsh with Stacy and Dave, near the end of the night, we gravitated to this boat ramp / dock area. The moon was just rising as we started to get some test shots. The dock was lightly painted with a small flashlight.
