Experimental mosaic portrait of legendary rapper Tupac (2Pac)

Continuing the experiments with African pattern tradition and contemporary subcultures. Trying to simplify the patterns and to limit the number of the colors.

Made with custom developed scripts and techniques in Synthetik Studio Artist, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Apple QuickTime Pro.

This seems to remind me of the tight and strong patterns of some African basket work.. ( and a little similar to Apache Amerindian basket work. ( not the colours) Enjoyed... thanks
