Gardens: Growing Organic Food
|
Photos of my annual garden from beginning to end. Every year I grow lots of vegetables for my family including corn, beans, okra, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli and more. We also grow blackberries, strawberries, grapes and apples which grow on trees, bushes, and vines in others areas of the yard; not in the garden. Herbs I grow include mint, lavender, basil, and parsley. I grow all my herbs in pots except for the mint, which is located on the side of the house opposite the garden.
The garden is L-shaped and is very spacious. The long side of the L-shape is24ft long and over 7ft wide. The arm side of the L-shape is 24ft long and about 5ft wide. I have plenty of room to plant what we need.
This set includes pics of gardening info that can be found in my book Veggie Mama: In the Garden
I would be very pleased if you stopped by the Veggie Mama blog, which includes lots of gardening pics, free gardening tips and free vegetarian/vegan recipes and info!
