Nescio bridge - Amsterdam

Newer Older

Some things just look better Large and on BLACK…… Enjoy!!!

The Nescio Bridge connects Amsterdam with IJburg via Diemen.
The bridge was opened on the 9th of April to make a better connection with Amsterdam Central Station, Amsterdam suburb Watergraafsmeer and IJburg.
It is the largest bike-pedestrian bridge in the Netherlands and is 780 meters or 2560 ft.

I live just 25 meters from the bridge and you can look inside my room when you’re standing on the bridge.

Laat het me even weten!

Erg leuk als je mee wilt doen om hier een mooie etalage van Nederlandse fotografie van te maken.

    Groet, Ted

    Dear photographer,

In a few weeks, a limited edition of the famous Nespresso CitiZ machine, displaying the lights and colours of Paris and New York will be unveiled.

On this occasion, Nespresso is organising a worldwide photography contest on the topic of urban architecture. Following the results, the winning photographer will have the privilege of acquiring his own and unique CitiZ machine, customised with his picture.

Your picture corresponds to the chosen subject and its quality succeeded on seducing us. That’s why, as a part of the competition and before the official launching of the website, we’re inviting you to take part in this event by joining the Nespresso CitiZ Dot Contest group and adding in your picture: www.flickr.com/groups_join.gne?id=1335072@N24

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called mavenimagery, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

I need your Artistic talent, unique vision and perception! Your mission, HDRI Artist, is to join mavenimagery...and wait. 3-5 years (long time? Quit now) from now, when HDR Technology has replaced general Photography, you'll be called on front line duty! mavenimagery (a sleeping beast, abiding it's time) a leader, contributor in HDRI Technologhy, now just watching the HDRI circus in amusement, but stiil cannot stop the sheding tears on account of a misconstrude technology; a tool (not an Art Form) that enable photography to venture in human perception, as close as the eye sees, that was never possible before...
    mavenimagery, Universal Sudio, Burbank, California
*mavenimagery has had a major role in bringing HDRI Technology from Hollywood Studios to conventional LDR (Low Dynamic Range) and MDR (Medium Dynamic Range) Photography in the West, where still remains as the LEADER in HDRI...and since it all started here, it wouldn't be presumptous to claim a world wide influence...
