Two Trees

HDR from 2 photos. I keep seeing something in these two trees, but I don't know that I captured it yet.

SInce I especially like comparisons in pictures, that's what I see first here, a pair of similar sized conifer and deciduous trees, in a satisfyingly balanced composition.

Yes there is some quiet meaning or question. I think it has to do with the point you are viewing from - through a window perhaps? - and the proportions of distance between viewer, the unmatched couple, and the trees in background. Are they in your domain, or part of the woods, or are they connected to each other (only)? Of course this is all sheer fancy but the unconscious part of the mind does this kind of arithmetic.

The tree on the right really is spectacular. The white pine looks kind of typical but adds balance to this composition. i wonder how this would look if the pine was not there? The sky is really lovely!

This print is the beginning of a story of two trees with the same environment growing so differently. The contrast is excellent and the picture most thought provoking. Well done! BarbyK1037
