The past is breaking through

The past is breaking through by Trois Têtes (TT).
As cranes go up daily in Sheffield city centre, traces of the past are breaking through at ground level - ignoring the double yellow lines

I've always been a big fan of the Boyle Family's works. Have resisted the temptation to do too much of it, but have a couple of yellow line shots I've been meaning to put up.

i'm on the edge with this.
i really like the geometrical character of the 'subject'
but the realisation leaves my desires unsatisfied.
lighting is flat, colours are a bit pale
(need a bit more contrast / saturation)
and it think it needed more pavement in the lower right corner.

I really like this - love the ttle, love the textures and the composition. The colours are a little flat, but if I'd been rolled over by several cranes I guess I would be too! ;-)

Bit close this one, wasn't it? Fwiw, I like it, the imagery is pretty powerful. Yes, tear up the tarmac, it would slow us all down!

Please go ahead and put this into Pop Fabuloso, T3, and congrats!

Really like the composition, but find that the lighting makes this a bland picture - it lacks punch. For me needs more sun to make the yellow stand out and give some shadow to the setts so we get their texture - shall we discuss? A
