Would you drink this?

The red color comes from Carmine (Food Additive E120), which is produced from dried little insects like cochineal scale. Yum yum. You can find this in Campari and candies.

You can read more about the Carmine in food from my other hobby project ekoodit.fi into which I try to collect information about Food Additives mostly in Finnish and partially in English.
