Mount Royal in the Distance

Mount Royal in the Distance by zalgon.
It was a gorgeous day in Montreal, so I went out at lunch and grabbed some photos of Montreal's spectacular McGill College Avenue. It is literally impossible to get a shot of all of the flowers on this street in late spring: they line the road on either side, and as can be seen here, the median is filled with tulips and cherry blossoms.

Beautiful capture.
Two more crossing the street, and you have Abby road :) The Beatles.

Wonderful photo.

My favorite downtown street. Love sitting here in the summertime...watching artists set up their wares, musicians and buskers plying their trade, craftspersons selling everything from jewellery to music CD's...

There's a really good restaurant right on the corner (upstairs) called "La Commensal". THey are a self-serve, buffet style vegetarian restaurant. Gets quite busy at lunch hour, but if you go during off-peak hours, it's wonderfully relaxing, good views of McGill College ave, and soft jazz music playing in the background.

Regards to all,

I've never really been there in the summer before... at least, not when people were selling stuff. Since I'm working on that street this year, though, I'll be able to experience (and photograph) it a lot!
