No Flap for You!

This little female Long-tailed popped up out of the water and looked like she was about to flap her wings, but she psyched me out and just sat back down. They never seem to do it when you're ready for them!

Male Long-tailed Duck

I haven't been out much with my camera lately, busy at work, kids with hockey play-offs, horrible weather etc... It was a nice treat to spend a gorgeous afternoon outside with these beauties!
