Procession of the Species 2008

The Procession of the Species Celebration happened in Olympia, Washington on Saturday, April 26, at 4:30pm. It was huge and spectacular. There were somewhere around 3,000 of us celebrants.

(BTW: The official estimate of 7,000 people in the crowd is goofy... carefully reasoned estimates supported by photographic evidence put us closer to THIRTY THOUSAND. Oh. My. Goodness.)
