The main waterfall that feeds into Hamilton Pool is flowing again. The park manager said it had not been flowing for about 3 years because of the drought.
This is a challenging place to photograph mostly because of the dark cave / grotto and the exterior part of the pool which is very bright.
I gave up trying to use lens filters and ended up taking multiple
exposures using my 10.5mm fisheye lens...11 exposures at different
shutter speeds.
I exported the multiple exposures to Photomatix as an HDR image.
The tricky part in Photomatix was processing for the moving people.
I actually created 2 HDR images...one with all of the default setting and all pre-adjustments turned off...and the other with the moving people or objects setting.
Then I comp'd the 2 images together in photoshop and made the final
edits there.
I removed some of the fisheye distortion using the lens correction filter in Photoshop.
Does anyone know the Lens Correction filter settings for the Nikon AF Fisheye Nikkor 10.5mm 1:2.8 G ED DX lens? I am also shooting with a Nikon D90. Thanks.
