Taken on our longest day of the year at an Allan Scott vineyard. It's an HDR processed with Photomatix with selective use of Topaz Adjust to add contrast to the stones and some of the leaves.
Interestingly, I tonemapped with both the Photoshop Photomatix plug-in, and directly in Photomatix, and for some resaon I was able to get a better result using the plug-in. Go figure?
Hmmm It really anoys me how flickr accentuates halos in the 500 pixel size.

What isnt there to love about this photo! Great lines to lead your eye, wonderful textures in the rocks and wood posts AND great colors from the plants to the sky! :)

Very cool - great, subtle use of the tonemap.
Interesting observation about the halos - it had never occurred to me that flickr accentuates this but now that you mention it - it is always more noticeable after you upload it. I wonder if it is the resizing that does it?
