Wendy's and Cranes

That Wendy's, just North of the Broadway/Cambie intersection, is such a relic of strip mall architecture, I'm actually fond of it. It is unique in the area, and showing no signs of going under. It is an ugly squat freestanding concrete fast food joint with a drive-through and a big parking lot. The land it's on must be worth a fortune. It is so car-centred that they won't serve you food after a certain time of night unless you are in car. (Walking up to the drive-in window doesn't get you fed, and while I haven't tried it on a bicycle, I'm willing to bet that it wouldn't work either).
