This is my room in the convent, which is not being currently used, so 4 of us female volunteers stayed here. I did get a mattress.. it's just outside in the sun.

This is my little ensuite. The convent is the only house that has solar lighting in every room and also a seated toilet rather than a squat one - yay!

This is one of our standard meals at the guesthouse. Beans and rice.. I didn't get sick of the food except this potato dish which we seemed to have every day.. Ironically it was my last meal before I left the village last week!
