Sensory overload. How often do you actually see, hear, smell and feel the leading edge of a storm front? I love Texas weather systems! It is bright, glaring, typical Texas sun on one side of the house and yet I hear thunder...so I went outside and the entire other side of the house is black with lightning. Suddenly, the wind gusts pick up, and I can see the dust blowing towards me down the street, getting in my eyes, the temperature drops....they're calling for hail, and the sky is a strange yellowish-orange.
