Ti, now you are amongst the millions and millions of stars looking down upon those you've left behind. It broke my heart to hear about your loss last night as I went around searching for you and Leak in Phnom Penh. I was so excited to finally found the home of your two friends and the first thing I said to them was, "call Ti, my luggage is still in Bangkok, so I don't have his contact info." I don't know whether it was my disbelief or just my stupidity when I heard everyone saying all at once that you've passed away. But it took the taxi driver to translate for me what they were saying to finally sink in.

I've cried all that I could for you and stopped by to see your mom in Takemou today. She showed me the new addition to the house you've added. We ate from the orange tree you planted today. She misses you dearly.
