I've been so out of the loop for the last eight years or so. My friend finally just got me to start watching Galactica a few weeks ago, & I smugly thought myself so original for calling Saul Tigh "the John McCaine guy" (we call Galactica's command "Lung Cancer & McCaine".) Now I find I'm probably the last of 200 million to make the connection.

The Palin-Roslin connection is stretching it a bit though, other than the glasses & the theme of bad foreigners "rearing their heads" in her airspace, leaving her asking: "where do they go?"
