Gloritone HT-881

There are not too many purple radios in my collection. Although this is pretty beat up (lots of cracks and chips) I figured it was worth saving. After a good clean up and polish it displays respectably.
Luckily the front is is good shape and exhibits many great features like chrome trim, reverse painting and a big silver chevron.

Below is a Holiday H-660. Other than the obvious cosmetic differences and the fact that the Gloritone has two more transistors in its circuit these are very similar radios and obviously made by the same manufacturer.
