Channel Master Display![]() ![]() Here's something you don't see everyday. A retail display for Channel Master transistor radios. Judging from the atomic age design and colors I'd guess it's from the late 50's or 1960. I do not know which radios were originally displayed but I have selected some of my better Channel Masters to fill up the spaces.
top shelf L to R: 6503, 6509, 6503 bottom shelf: 6501 (Channel Master's 1st transistor, shirtpocket radio) Channel Master was established in 1949 in Ellenville, New York and manufactured television antennas. They are still in business today under the corporate umbrella of PCT International and still make antennas as well as satellite dishes and digital to analog converters for television.
