"a pair of socks," men's version

my dad's xmas gift: men's version of ann budd's "a pair of socks" (subscriber-only pattern on the interweave knits website), made with two skeins of dale baby ull in a color to match the dog hair on my parents' carpet. finished them on christmas eve morning, and they fit perfectly!
