this is the boundary of the footprint. it's the western edge of the "notch" on the southern boundary of the footprint.

The three buildings on the left are slated for demolition, and the two have been deemed "blighted" for the purposes of eminent domain and the construction of Atlantic Yards.
i didn't realize these particular buildings
were considered blighted.
Also, it seems that the boundary of the
Atlantic Yards footprint in this area isn't
set in stone. I know the owner of both 493
and 495 Dean, and he said (several weeks ago)
that his buildings were not in the footprint.
Maybe the facts have changed...

The footprint ends at 495 and it IS set in
stone, it HAS TO BE according to NY State
law.
The owners of the three buildings to the
left are paintiffs in the eminent domain
lawsuit. Maybe that's what the owner was
trying to articulate to you.
