sleep study5 AKA I feel so pretty

All hooked up. The box I'm holding in my left hand had all of my wires hooked into it so I could walk to the bathroom. Once in bed, the box hung from the bed post and was plugged in.

I wasn't able to sleep (not sure why . . . !). They normally don't have patients as small as me, so the two belts around my waist and chest were as tight as they would go, and were borderline tight enough. I will probably have to go and have it all done again since I didn't sleep well. They had me start a few hours before I usually go to sleep, and ended it about 3 hours before I usually get up. I'm sure that was part of the problem. But sleeping with all of this hooked up to me made it pretty difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep. It took about an hour to get all hooked up. What you can't see is I also have about 4 wires hooked to the back of my head, one on each leg, and one on each side of my chest. In the morning, my hair was all tangled up in the wires, but I couldn't pull it back because of all of the wires.

In the morning, when the tech was taking all of this off, she said she hated pulling the electrodes off of men, so she would let me take them off of my legs. I told her I wasn't a man, but I didn't shave. I know she didn't mean it to come out the way it did, but . . . I ain't no man.

I was looking pretty good went I went in . . . considering I had to wash my hair and couldn't use conditioner. But I wasn't looking too good here. They marked everything on my head with a red china marker--that's what is at the top of my forehead.

P.S. The tech said I stopped breathing a few times, struggled for oxygen, and had slight signs of arrhythmia. She said I didn't snore very much, but I'm sure it was because I didn't sleep much. I've been told I snore like a banshee.
