Torley on Piano - awesomelicious art by Wynter Bracken

OMG! I'm so excited! And I absolutely can't hide it. While browsing various' contacts streams on Flickr, I came across Wynter Bracken's artwork. Like me, she likes ArtRage (which I've blogged about before), and I really liked the picture she did of Electric Ibanez. She wrote:


I'm thinking of making more like this, if you want your character in a portrait similar to this, then give me a message here or in Second Life, (IM Wynter Bracken). Payment (in Linden Dollars) depends on how you want your pic!. ^.^


Sure enough, I had to ask. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! Wynter's so friendly, the piccie was done in less than a week, and let me also add that her prices are incredibly reasonable. So reasonable that I wonder if she's going to be flooded with commissions soon! ;) Inquire within.

Anyway, here I am with a BIG SMILE :D on my face — I lightened the above a touch and added some saturation, but aside from that, it's all Wynter's rendition of the iconic "Torley on Piano" snapshot from Second Life.

Looks like I have a new basis for the cover art for solo piano 7 (coming soon!), too!

Wynter AKA The Ebony Phoenix also has a deviantART gallery with more of her works, including game monster designs. I grew up on AD&D handbooks and Final Fantasy posters, so I appreciate this. Being a teacher of sorts, I can certainly appreciate she's starting to do tutorials too!
