is this a tiong bahru unit? This balcony style reminds me of the long verandas that you find in the old walk-up flats. Chip Bee Gardens maybe?

It's an old walk-up apartment along Serangoon Road --- the kind that will be demolished in about a year's time so that the area can be redeveloped :P This apartment is much-loved and will be much-missed!
